Perhaps most of us have read or heard about the Spaghetti tree which was featured on the BBC programme. It was one of the well known pranks in history which happened in 1957. In the program, they showed how Swiss people harvest spaghetti from trees. A large number of people actually believed and contacted BBC to know how to grow their own spaghetti trees. How stupid can that be? hehehe JOKE! .
Last night, I downloaded the Korean Movie, I'm a Cyborg, but that's okay. It was not really hilarious but I was so interested with the film since Rain is the leading man on this movie. I can't imagine him acting so goofy in the movie. I mean I will always remember him as the guy from Full House, a hot shot celebrity and not to mention his cool TVC for Clear Black shampoo. You know... " My name is Rain". hehehe.
Going back to this korean movie, this is about a girl who thinks she is a cyborg. She enters a mental institution and talks to a vending machine and flourecent lights. Rain on the other hand, is a mental patient as well who believes he can steal people's traits. He keeps an eye on the "cyborg girl", the new patient. The "cyborg girl" doesn't eat and people in the facility thinks she has an eating disorder which they cannot cure. She thinks that she can recharge herself with batteries (she actually takes them for lunch, she sticks her tongue on alkaline batteries) but in reality, her physical state is deteriorating. Rain thought of a way to help the "cyborg girl" since she becomes thinner from her diet of batteries. He convinced her that he had installed a food to electrical energy unit in her back, thus gets her to eat. I think I wont be really interested in this movie if it weren't for Rain. But if you are trying to kill time or can't sleep, you would actually be entertained with this movie. One of a kind.
